Meet Ace Kombela

In Guguletu Township, Eric (Ace) Kombela brings schooling, Aids Education, and Hope to the youth of this township though the game of soccer.

 

 

Ace was one of S. Africa’s most popular National Soccer Players.  He took his winnings and started soccer camps for area youth. There were NO organized sports in the township when Ace began this program. The students were not allowed to play unless they attended church, attended school, and passed all their assignments.

 

 

Now there are several teams with almost 150 players and a District League.Ace’s senior soccer team has won the District league and are now on a Provincial League.
